FINAL EXPENSE AND PRE-NEED PLANNING

Once we realize that death is unavoidable, we cannot predict it, we cannot prevent it and we cannot postpone it, it just makes good sense to sit down and try to make some preparation and do something about it.

A funeral serves an important purpose.

Funerals help family and friends acknowledge loss and take the first step to overcoming grief. They bring people together at a time when they most need each others’ care and support.

They say we are going to die one of two ways, FAST, if we are lucky or SLOW!

Slow means from the hospital, to the Nursing Home to the Funeral Home and I can tell you from almost 30 years personal experience there will not be any funds left for the funeral expenses if this happens. The sad part of it is that this does actually happen about 72% of the time. In pre-need planning we avoid the burden placed on family, church or even the State. We believe we need to do something about it NOW, while we still can, and have the opportunity. If you have a serious illness or a stroke next week, then again it is too late and you will be passing the burden onto someone else.

Why Prearrange a Funeral?

Prearranging can spare your family from emotional overspending.
Survivors are grief stricken. It is unfair to force them to make permanent decisions under stress.
Your expressed wishes are recorded in your Vital Information Guide.
Funding may be arranged to cover the entire cost of a funeral. By prearranging, you will find that emotional decisions are not based on money.
Funds may qualify as exempt assets under current Medicaid and SSI regulations.

We recommend limited pay plans when it comes to pre-need planning. You can make one single payment and be done with it or you can pay it off over 3, 5,7 or 10 year payment plans. One very important feature of a limited pay plan is that you will never pay more than the original pre-need benefit. The other important feature is that the original pre-need benefit amount increase usually based on the national cost of living figure put out by the Government. This way you are paying for your funeral with today dollars with tomorrow’s benefits.

Why Prearrange a Funeral?
When old age and sickness creeps in, people are either thankful they bought the pre-need, pre-paid plan or sorry they didn’t.
The funeral will have to be paid for someday, whether you purchase a plan or not. If you purchase in now, you will know exactly what it cost and how it was paid for.
If you put it off I can guarantee your cost will be higher and it will be a lot harder to pay the full cost at once by those you leave behind.
Pre-need planning is the easiest terms for meeting inescapable funeral cost.
Our pre-need plans are good worldwide so you are not locked into a local funeral home in case your children need to move you to another part of the country.
